Q Solicitors

Firm ProfileEstablished in 2000, Q Solicitors has been providing a broad range of legal services to clients both locally in Brisbane and as far away as the deepest darkest Africa.  It's true!

Q Solicitors has serviced clients in Saudi Arabia, Emirates, Pacific Islands, Canada, Cuba, Japan, Papua New Guinea, Singapore, South Africa and Europe.

Myles Murphy, Principal of Q Solicitors and Notary Public, was admitted to practice in 1977 and has over 30 years' experience in all facets of Commercial and Property Law.   Myles has owned a number of firms in this time including MGM Solicitors (formerly located at Paddington), which continues to service its loyal client base.

Myles purchased Q Solicitors in 2007.  Q Solicitors is located in the hub of Teneriffe, surrounded by the spectacular Wool Stores of yester year.  Myles Murphy is well known and respected in the Teneriffe, New Farm, Fortitude Valley and Newstead suburbs, where clients range from young professionals purchasing residential properties, to astute business clients, growing their commercial and investment portfolios.

In addition to assisting clients in their day to day legal concerns Q Solicitors provides a "pro-active" legal service by involving itself in clients' affairs from their commencement to fruition. Frequently, time, money and effort can be conserved by 'quick one-off advices' that help to structure clients' affairs to avoid costly taxes, duties or litigation at a later date.

The Firm's aim is to stand separate from all other Solicitors Firms through its committment to professionalism and quality and at the end of the day its aim is to make each and every client comfortable with the Law.

As a Notary Public, Myles Murphy provides a valuable service authenticating execution of documents and providing notarization services as required.  This is a service utilised on a regular basis, particularly with international clients.
